Abstract

Compilation of the speeches presented in the meeting about mobility, transport, and communications in the framework of the acts to honour the 50th anniversary of the first volume of the Geografia de Catalunya by AEDOS. The first report explains the chapter that focuses on transports and communications from a regional geography approach. The second report analyzes the success of the transport geography in the last 50 years since the concept of mobility was first introduced. Finally, the third report exposes how geography has helped to boost the professionalization of mobility planning.
