Abstract How do humans evolve? This is probably the most important question to be answered by us as a self-aware animal species. The question that arises is whether Darwin and Wallace’s theory of natural selection serves to explain human evolution. The three processes that humanize us, differentiating us from the rest of the animal kingdom, are: (a) the way to obtain energy from the environment (production), (b) the way of passing information between us (communication), and (c) the way we group into variable-size clusters(socialization). Critical awareness is a consequence of operational intelligence that has led us to operational consciousness. Our species needs responsible evolution and conscious progress. But this will only be feasible if we socialize the critical consciousness of our species. It is necessary to reflect on how this knowledge and approaches of the theory of social evolution can be applied to the current and future practice of species. And as a result, we must continue to build a theoretical body that allows us to understand our evolutionary process from inside of the own human specificity. We are not yet fully «human» but we are in the process of making ourselves human, because we depend in part on the randomness. We will be fully human when we depend only on logic. Keywords: human evolution, behavior, socialization, anthropological prospective, epistemology. Downloads Download data is not yet available.
