La ciència i les conseqüències Authors Oriol Izquierdo Abstract L’any 1973 el Premi Nobel de Fisiologia o Medicina va recaure en tres científics als quals es reconeixia els descobriments sobre patrons de comportament individuals i socials. Nikolaas Tinbergen havia nascut el 1907 a la Haia; durant la Segona Guerra Mundial, la Gestapo el va empresonar perquè era membre de la resistència holandesa. Karl von Frisch havia nascut a Viena el 1886, i els nazis el van perseguir perquè tenia un besavi jueu. El tercer, Konrad Lorenz, nascut a Viena el 1907, sovint és considerat el pare de l’etologia; va afiliar-se al partit nacionalsocialista a principis dels anys trenta i se sap que va passar part de la guerra treballant en un hospital psiquiàtric a Poznan i els últims temps com a metge al front rus, on va ser capturat i empresonat quatre anys en camps soviètics. Retornat a Àustria, es va reincorporar a la universitat i va fer una carrera acadèmica que culminaria amb el Premi Nobel. Lorenz va morir el 1989; l’any 2015 la Universitat de Salzburg li va revocar el títol de doctor per haver ocultat el passat nazi. Downloads Download data is not yet available. Likewise, authors should provide the respective consents and authorisations to the SCB when submitting articles. — The SCB is exempt from any liability arising from the possible infringement of intellectual property rights by authors.
