Abstract

Emotional education, of our feelings and affections, as well as the communication thereof and the transmission of ethical values, is part of our lives. Museums of Pedagogy, Teaching and Education are suitable scenarios for studying, understanding
and interpreting all the knowledge embedded in the teaching and learning of the History of Education. In this study, first of all, we gather some specifications related to the basic fundamentals of emotional education, in order to clarify in turn certain issues related to the development of affectivity in students. Secondly, we reflect on the role of these museums as potential instruments for the transmission of ethical values and for educating on the emotional. Thirdly, we attempt to demonstrate and justify that education of the emotions and feelings in pedagogical museum scenarios, appears as a new alternative capable of answering the new educational paradigms prevailing in 21st century society.
