History and life of MuSED – The Museum of School and Education in Roma Tre University

Abstract

Over the past forty years, history of education has demonstrated many interdisciplinary openings, especially to the material history of school and education. These historiographical advances have led to the creation of many museums. The MuSEd of Roma Tre is the oldest Italian museum dedicated to pedagogy and education. The rich heritage of the MuSEd makes possible didactic experimentation and methodological reflections on the sources of historical educational research.
