Orígens de l'Ajuntament de les Corts (1814-1836) Authors Josep Moran i Ocerinjauregui Abstract Th e creation of constitutional city councils in the Pla de Barcelona at the beginning of the 19th century was based on the old mayoralties whose scope coincided with that of the parishes except for Les Corts, which had its own mayoralty and its own territory but belonged to the parish of Sarrià. When establishing the boundaries for the new municipalities, Les Corts was forced to give up its upper area to Sarrià. Th is process of establishing municipalities started in February 1814 and did not end until October 1836. Downloads Download data is not yet available.
