Les Viles medievals: franqueses i mals usos Authors Rosa Lluch Bramon Abstract This work analyzes how the inhabitants of Banyoles achieved personal freedom to the bad customs. It also explains that, although Catalan towns offered freedom to their population, there were remences and some of these urban serfs had to pay seigniorial impositions to their lords. The work also deals with the levies derived from servitude charged by a feudal rural lordship and explains the bad customs that were more often condoned in the population charters. The conclusion is that the bad customs less required were the more exempted. Downloads Download data is not yet available.
