Abstract

Ramon d’Abadal has left a numerous series of personal observations about Visigoth Hispania that have a certain historiographic interest, due to the capacity for asking questions about unstudied aspects, of rethinking questions traditionally accepted by historiography and of sensing situations that the sources do not suitably clarify. This article directly rereads Abadal in order to discover the historian’s methodology better.
