Abstract

The centenary year of his approval by the Institut d’Estudis Catalans has just ended the program about the Carolingian Catalonia as far as the project of Ramon d’Abadal is concerned. On this occasion, the vicissitudes of the project are reviewed since its conception by Abadal and the volumes that he published, through political and economic difficulties, the slow but tenacious work of its continuators and the definitive push already in the 21st century, as well as the missing bangs to complete the work.
