Abstract

The article shows how in Joan Vinyolis poetry, one of the greatest Catalan poets for whomthis year we celebrate the one hundred year centenary of his birth, we can find some elements which allow us to consider a certain presence ofmathematical thinking in some of his poems. Especially interesting is the case of the book titled Llibre damic, where the poet decided to accompany the poems with varied geometrical illustrations.
