Algemat: àlegra amb materials Authors Anna Vilaró Utrillo Abstract Finding good mathematics manipulative material that is structured is often difficult. And even more so if you want to work on content for compulsory secondary education. This article explains the experience of a teacher who, as a result of her research and practice in the classroom, has designed new manipulative material. Reflections are provided on different materials for working on algebra and their suitability to achieve the established objectives. Later, the self-creation material is presented: ALGEMAT (algebra with material), explaining with examples how it can be used to learn different mathematical operations.
