Abstract

Fem Matemàtiques is not only a problem-solving competition but also a resource bank where teachers find useful materials in the classroom and help work on allmath skills and processes in an integrated way. In this article we give a glimpse at the virtues of working through problem solving and delve into a single problem to see how, froma simple proposal, we can achieve different rich activities that can be productively used in the classroom.
