Editar la Viquipèdia: punt de trobada de competències matemàtiques, lingüístiques i digitals Authors Martí Cuquet Agnes Schlüter Abstract Communication is one of the key dimensions or processes inmathematics. It is also an aspect of mathematics that allows for the easy establishment of connections with other areas, such as language and digital activities. In this article, we present a project to edit mathematical articles in Wikipediawith third-year secondary school students (14-15 years old). The project is linked tomathematical, linguistic and digital competences in the curriculum. Making the students become editors ofWikipedia is also an opportunity for their digital literacy. Themain objective of the project is to develop an encyclopaedic article on a mathematical concept, using reliable sources of information. It has been implemented through four phases: presentation, evaluation of Wikipedia articles, article preparation, and evaluation. Students valued the reinforcement of their specific vocabulary inmathematics and their product being useful to society. In addition, Wikipedia allowed themto complete all their work on its own platformand to interact with the editing community, receiving evaluations and recommendations from experts outside the school.
