Abstract

Research on nanoparticles in biomedicine has aroused growing interest in recent years due to their promising properties for cancer diagnosis and therapy. This paper discusses the mechanisms of action of this type of nanomaterials in relation to tumor cells, as well as the design strategies to improve their performance. The main types of inorganic nanoparticles that have stood out for their characteristics in the field of oncology are also presented.
