Abstract

This article outlines some of the main conclusions of a research sets in Rovira i Virgili University, examining if professional careers are equal for men and women. A group of sociologists has realized this survey which includes PDI (teaching and research staff), PAS (staff of administration and services) and students data analysis. One of the objectives is to compare family paths and labour paths between men and women to analyze similarities and differences. At the same time, is examined how organizational factors are useful to describe unequal gender opportunities.
