Abstract

In this article we introduce the methodology that has been developed from CREA during these last years. It is created from our own contributions and taking into account several authors as well. Among these authors it is worth to point up Habermas contribution. According to this author, traditionally the actor was taken from a disadvantageous position. This has been conceptualised as a relevant unevenness in methodological terms when it refers to difference between the interpretation and the interpreted action. In order to overcome this unevenness we propound a social investigation based on the communicative action. Because this perspective places interpreter and actor at the same level, it gets an approach that gets equality within the understanding process in which both are participants. The methodology we are elaborating makes up a way to introduce opinions and interests of the participants, these elements are usually excluded from the scientific legitimisation processes. Furthermore, we have developed several qualitative techniques: communicative social gatherings, daily life stories and communicative observations, which try to make suitable for participants in the investigation and allow interaction among people participating in the process. Conversations that are generated allow the creation of space for dialogue where language is not an obstacle when talking and answering, but a fundamental tool. Results of the process allow to do an analysis even more reflexive and the participant has a more important role as a subject of the investigation.
