Condicionants sociològics de la planificació lingüística en un context global i multicultural

Abstract

The complexity of the current formation of different societies causes the apperance of new challenges that are added to the emergence of already existing and unsolved realities. This makes problems, questions ans policies that there believed to be solved or at least overcame have to analysed through new points of view. This forces, at the same time, to rethink the strategies and also to rethink ourselves as a society. The linguistic policy, and the consequent planning, must not be forgotten in these thougts because it acts in and for a population and in and for a specific society, one and the other are in process of transformation and change. The various current social context in wich, and for wich, the linguistic decisions are taken contain specific factors that are added to and interact with the already existent ones. Ones ant the others with differents degrees of intensity influence them. This article refers to some of this aspects and to this divers, global and local context that give them singularity.
