Abstract

This paper studies the application of the Catalan Law on Transparency, Access to Public Information and Good Governance to private entities that exercise public functions or administrative powers, provide public services, or receive public funds to operate or carry out their activities by any legal title. The obligation of these entities to provide the responsible Administration with information directly related to the public activity they carry out is analyzed in the light of the doctrine issued by the commission for the Guarantee of the Right of Access to Public Information of Catalonia (GAIP).
