Model de gestió d'aplicació de matèria orgànica Authors Laura Magem Abstract The pilot project for the implementation of a new management model for the agricultural leverage of treated purification sewage sludge in the county of lAnoia explains the assessment of the interest, difficulties, risks, advantages and disadvantages linked to the theoretical proposal of a new management model for the agricultural leverage of treated purification sludge (thermally desiccated, composted or digested, hereinafter post-treated). This model is based on the separation of management tasks in two organisations that work autonomously but in coordination. On the one hand, the organisation that decides on the doses of organic matter that may go to each one of the soils, called the SATEC: Servei dAssessoria Tècnica i Control [Technical Assessment and Control Service]. And on the other hand, the figure of the implementer and manager of the application of the organic matter TAMROA: Transportista Aplicador Manipulador de Residus Orgànics per a lAgricultura [Transporter Applier Handler of Organic Waste for Agricultur]. The objective of this pilot test was to seek knowledge transfer on the application for rural workers to afford them criteria in the application of the doses of sludge as manure for cereal crops (applied according to agronomic criteria of sustainable agricultural leverage, assessment to the farmer on the doses applied and the introduction of the farmer into the management of sludge manure). To accomplish these objectives a test was conducted on actual production plots of land (more than 200 has) located throughout the county of lAnoia, a region with extensive dry farming and low livestock pressure, which facilitated the conduct of the test.
