Distàncies genètiques entre la raça bretona cerdana i unes altres races cavallines Authors Pere-Miquel Parés i Casanova Abstract It has been analyzed 26 antigenic factors belonging to 6 erytrocytarian systems, in 103 «bretó cerdà» animals. Frequencies of erytrocytarian antigens are obtained. The frequency of 12 erytrocytarian antigens is compared with 13 cavalline breeds, and it is summarized the genetic distance. The breeds are: ardennes, boulonnais, breton, comtois and percheron i permetrical breeds (more than 500 kg of body weight); fjording, andalusian, trotter, english thoroughbred, arab thoroughbred and anglo-arab eumetrical breeds (between 350 and 500 of body weight), and asturcon and hucul elypometrical breeds (less than 350 kg of body weight). Two different numerical taxonomic methods were used, both of which yielded very similar results. Lesser distances are between «bretó cerdà» and ardennes, breton and percheron; major distances are with english thoroughbred and andalusian. The relationships as estimated were evaluated on the basis of the «bretó cerdàs» historical development. Downloads Download data is not yet available.
