Nematodes del sòl a Catalunya. Espècies d'interès agronòmic Authors M. Escuer Joan Isart Sabi Antonio Bello Abstract A detailed analysis of the available data on soil nematodes found in Catalonia was done. The species, host plant and distribution of plant parasitic nematodes are given. About 88 localities have been studied mostly from grapevine, cereals and fruits-tree. About 70 species of plant parasitic nematodes and 83 of free-living nematodes have been found. Nematological problems are centered, according their economical importance, in root-knot nematodes, cyst nematodes, virus vectors stem nematodes, citrus nematodes, endoparasitic and ectoparasitic nematodes. A better characterization of phytonematological problems for the most important crops in Catalonia is point out. The importance of take measures to find and isolate the pathogenic species foci to avoid the epidemic development and the dispersion of pathogens are discussed.
