Abstract

A population study on the equid coat of the Spanish-breton horse from Cerdanya has been carried out. Data from 635 individuals born between 1970 and 1990 (150 males and 485 females) registered in the Equine Sanitary Target have been taking into account. Percentage of the different colours and its evolution through time has been determined with special attention to officially registered particular stallions.
