Abstract

This article highlights the multifaceted personality of Jordi Peix and his vast knowledge of agricultural issues; his influence on the Catalan agricultural policy between 1976 and 2000; and his final stage, which began in 2006 with the opening of the blog “Agriculture in Catalonia”, a digital window on Catalan agriculture that his heirs should endeavour to keep alive.
