Abstract

The article briefly discusses the relationship that Jordi Peix maintained with the Congress of Catalan Culture, in which he was the coordinator for Agriculture. During the closing session of the Congress on 15 May 1977 in Lleida, the seed of ICEA (Catalan Institution of Agricultural Studies) was planted. The article also discusses the activity carried out by Jordi at ICEA as long as his health made it possible.
