Abstract

This article explains the development of one of the Espacio Ciencia museum workshops, in which students learn about the history of perfume and test their senses to prepare and package their own perfume formula. The article focuses on the process of extraction of essential oils called enfleurage and reflects on the evaluation by teachers who attended the workshop while establishing possible links to secondary school chemistry programs.
