Abstract

Predict, observe, explain and explore: effective strategies in science learning. Generally, practical work is not included as part of the teaching strategies of Mexican science teachers at secondary school level due to, among other factors, the school infrastructure. To promote the incorporation of this type of activity, we developed four experiments with materials of easy acquisition, using POE and inquiry methodologies. In addition to the learning of the concepts, this proposal allowed the development of fundamental skills in science.
