Perspectivas não fisicalistas na didática da química Authors Marcos Antonio Pinto Ribeiro Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia, Brasil Keywords: Philosophy of chemistry, chemistry didactics, reductive physicalism. Abstract Based on the history and philosophy of chemistry, the aim is to explain long-lasting patterns of ways of thinking and teaching chemistry. The philosophy of chemistry only began to form, more systematically, from the 1990s onwards, a space hitherto tacitly occupied by reductive physicalism. Reflection on the specificity of chemistry reveals perspectives that are still absent in the chemistry curriculum. Here we present some analyses such as: cognitive, epistemological and didactic styles; historical patterns of chemistry didactics and non-physicalist approaches to chemistry teaching.
