Abstract Magic has always exerted a fascination on the human being. A current example of this is Harry Potter, who is in the daily life of many high school students. This article shows an activity which uses Harry Potter to promote the student’s interest in chemical issues: a presentation which includes several experiments that simulate some of the spells of the books.
