Reviewers of renowned prestige in the field of the sciences of History and of Education or alternatively from other fields related to the articles submitted for review. As this is a scientific journal, they must be doctors, regardless of their professional affiliation.
An open list of candidates will be drawn up, mainly comprising people from outside the Society (non members). Each article received will be submitted to a blind review by 2 experts. Should one of the experts be a member of SHE, it shall be ensured that the other reviewer is not. Should the article submitted to review deal with the terminology of a specific field, it shall be ensured that one of the reviewers, at least, is an expert in this field or in linguistic mediation in this field (terminology, technical writing, translation).
The review is open, in the sense that the reviewers sign their comments.
