From the binomial paradigm to the generalized context of student mobilization in Spain (1965-1969) Authors Sergio Calvo Romero Universidad de Zaragoza DOI: 10.2436/20.3009.01.334 Abstract When approaching the prolific issue of the anti-Franco student movement, a reality emerges with clarity and axiomatic validity, that is, until the second half of the sixties, Madrid and Barcelona were the epicenter of protest actions by university students. Once the “demographic explosion” occurred and news students began to arrive on campus, with a different socioeconomic profile, with different concerns and needs, it became clear that the old academic structures were going to enter with the student body. This phenomenon spread throughout all the university districts in an exceptional way, with none in which an attempt to protest did not occur. The monopoly exercised by both capitals would be more than overcome, beginning a new stage of university protest. Downloads Download data is not yet available.
