Abstract

This article explores the treatment of bodies and matter in the work of Felícia Fuster. The study examines the textualization of corporality, an element that permeates her work and crystallizes in it in various different ways. The poet conducts a search for identity in which we perceive existential discontent, which the author expresses, among other things, via the metaphor of a tight-fitting dress. We also encounter a full exploration of the dead body from meditation on armed conflict. Furthermore, the presence or absence of matter and the various manifestations of bodies enable her to show the arbitrariness of the basis of human life and the fragility of existence.
