Viticultura i sòls amb especial referència al Bages Authors Jaume Boixadera i Llobet Abstract La importància del sòl en la viticultura és acceptada per tothom. No obstant això, l'efecte sobre la qualitat és objecte de controvèrsia. Amb el mot terrer s'han donat diversos significats a la relació entre el sòl (factors naturals i biològics) i l'obtenció del vi (factor humà). En aquest article s'argumenta i es difereix en aspectes com ara el subministrament hídric moderat com a factor bàsic de qualitat, així com també les relacions de la qualitat amb les característiques minerals dels sòls, etc. També s'hi exposen els aspectes ambientals clima, geologia, extensió i superfície cultivada, la tipologia i les característiques dels sòls tipus de sòls i propietats referents a la zona vitivinícola del Bages. Se'n desprèn com a conclusió la variabilitat prou important de sòl a la zona del Bages, que obliga i encoratja al seu estudi com a mitjà per obtenir una viticultura competitiva i sostenible.
