Revista de Catalunya. Aproximació a la seva història Authors Jaume Sobrequés i Callicó Abstract The author provides a historical panorama of the different phases in the life of the Revista de Catalunya from the time it was founded in 1924 to the last edition that appeared in exile in 1967. He covers the period of Primo de Riveras dictatorship, the Second Republic and the editions that, as from the defeat in 1939, had to be published in exile, both in Paris and Mexico. He pays particular attention to the unsuccessful attempts to publish the Revista de Catalunya inside the country during Francos dictatorship and the personalities of its various directors.
