Reduction [Reduktion]

Abstract

The concept of «reduction» makes its appearance in Husserl’s phenomenology before the year 1905, and means for Husserl the revolutionary foundation of his philosophical project. However, the concept is far from remaining stable in the development of his thought. In this work the evolution of the concept of «reduction» is shown in his first appearance until their descriptions in the latest period of Krisis. A brief indication of the possibility of establishing a relationship between Husserl’s concept of «reduction» and Heidegger’s concept of «anxiety» is also made.
