Abstract

There are several differences between the growth processes of China and of India. China has lower labour costs, which is clearly good for investors, and it offers greater incentives for the creation of new businesses. From the entrepreneurial and innovation standpoints, however, the startup process in India is very good. This paper presents the respective strengths and weaknesses of the Chinese and Indian markets, as well as the strategies that can be unfolded in these two economies.
