L'eix de Bracons i el futur econòmic de la Garrotxa Authors Àlvar Garola Crespo Abstract The growth of productivity is the only resource that is permanently available for increasing the economic welfare of a population. In this paper, an econometric model is used to show what may be expected of certain factors. Catalonias Garrotxa region requires an employment policy to increase the number of quality employers in this area, where the unemployment rate and the aging rate are rising. The Bracons road axis infrastructure will strengthen the employment market in the Garrotxa region, improving this areas accessibility and its productivity potential.
