Abstract The Cirerers building project began in early 2020 with the construction of its 32 apartments and community spaces. During two intense years of joint work with the future inhabitants, the architectural project and the fit of the coexistence model have been defined. The building is located at Les Dones de Nou Barris Square in Barcelona’s Roquetes neighborhood. With its eight floors, it is Spain’s tallest wooden building. This will be a passive structure because it will have a minimum energy demand in terms of air conditioning and hot water production, and it will be environmentally friendly because organic materials with a minimum ecological footprint will preferably be used. Keywords: cohousing, community, energy, ecology, wood, architecture.
