Nous repertoris, noves perspectives Authors Bernat Cabré i Cercós Abstract With the description of the contents and the codicological analysis of Manuscript 59 of the Orfeó Català Documentation Centre, notice is given here of a source of prime importance of religious polyphonic repertory written between the late 16th and early 17th centuries, a source which had remained completely unknown until now. The manuscript, which provides a closer knowledge of the repertory that may have been sung in the religious institutions of Vic and Barcelona, forms an alternative source of compositions which are found in other manuscripts and presents hitherto unknown compositions, some of which should come to be attributed to composers who are known to us while others may be attributed to persons with no known works up to now. Likewise, authors should provide the respective consents and authorisations to the Societat Catalana de Musicologia when submitting articles. — The Societat Catalana de Musicologia is exempt from any liability arising from the possible infringement of intellectual property rights by authors.
