Catàleg de l'obra conservada de Josep Gaz Authors Josep Pujol i Coll Abstract Catalog of Josep Gazs extant worksDetailed catalog of works by the chapelmaster Josep Gaz (or Gas) (Martorell, 1656 - Girona, 1713), based on documentation at the Arxiu de la Catedral de Girona, Biblioteca de Catalunya and the parish church archive of Sant Pere i Sant Pau at Canet de Mar (Barcelona), places where his works are preserved. The catalog includes many of the descriptive fields established by the Répertoire International des Sources Musicales (RISM). There are about two hundred documents altogether (manuscript scores and printed letters). After establishing the concordances, the catalog has one hundred and fifty four different pieces, which will allow to study in detail one of the most prolific Catalan composers of the baroque period at the turn of the 18th century and his professional career of chapelmaster at Mataró, Barcelona (1675- 1685), Santa Maria del Mar in Barcelona (1685-1690) and Girona Cathedral (1690-1713).
