Abstract

Since its beginnings, the well-known Chapel of the Corpus Christi Seminary College of Valencia included six children who received musical training both in plainchant and polyphony for their participation in the divine offices and sung masses. Supplementing the paper published in 2017 on male soprano and castrato voices, this article traces the history of these choirboys in the 17th century through the extant documentation in the College's archive.
