Abstract

Contribution to the fungal component of the reforested Aleppo pine forests in the protected area of the Secans de Mas de Melons-Alfés (Lleida-Catalonia-Spain). The reforested pine forests in the protected area of the Mas de Melons-Alfés are an interesting habitat, because in this area , the pines don't form dense forests but, if present, they grow usually disperse. According to the prospections carried out by the author during 8 years, 32 fungal species (2 ascomycetes and 30 basidiomycetes) are listed. Although most of the species are ubiquitous in the pine forest of western Catalonia, some new or rarely reported species in this area were also found. In this case some descriptive aspects of diagnostic interestf are also given.
