Abstract

Inedit data on the Myxomycetes biota of Catalonia. Last results of a mycota survey ("Biodiversitat Micològica de Catalunya" project) of different habitats scattered in Catalonia, from the litoral to the Pyrenean range (2000 m alt. and more), devoted to the Myxomycetes. Some species seem to show a preference for the rockrose bushes (Cistus communities), an habitat intensively searched during the survey namely: Didymium melanospermum, Didymium squamulosum, Leocarpus fragilis, Badhamia foliicola , Diderma spumarioides, Didymium eximium and Physarum cinereum. Some species are new or rarely found in Catalonia: Arcyria affinis, Badhamia dubia , B. utricularis, Comatricha anomala, C. tenerrima, Craterium obovatum, Diderma asteroides, D. fallax, D. niveum, Didymium clavus, D. dubium, D. eximium, D. megalosporum, D. minus, D. pertusum, Fuligo intermedia, Lamproderma maculatum, Lepidoderma carestianum, Physarum bitectum, P. confertum, P. conglomeratum, P. leucophaeum , P. leucopus, P. mutabile, P. robustum, P. vernum, Stemonitopsis typhina and Trichia persimilis.
