Abstract

Mitosporic fungi from montane, subalpine and alpine regions of Catalonia. As part of the results obtained in 1996 on fungal diversity in Catalonia, information is given on 21 species of mitosporic fungi (14 hyphomycetes and 7 coelomycetes) that have been found mainly in the Catalan Pyrenees, at up to 2100 m altitude, either as plant parasites, parasites of myxomycetes, or colonizing dead plant material. Sorne of these species had rarely or not at all been reported from Catalonia. Line-drawing illustrations are given for many ofthem.
