Enlazando didáctica e historia de la ciencia: clasificaciones y modelos de las uniones químicas en los libros de texto de física y química de secundaria (2007-2016) Authors Luis Moreno-Martínez Abstract Understanding how atoms, ions or molecules bind together and result in structures that explain the properties of the substances is one of the characteristic objectives of chemistry education. With this didactic purpose, textbooks often use classifications and models, as well as references to some scientists in the history of chemistry that contributed to the study of chemical bonds. This essay analyzes how these classifications and models are presented, as well as the treatment of the history of chemistry in the explanation of the chemical bond.
