Minicursos temáticos para alunos de ensino secundário: uma estratégia de ensino na formação inicial de professores de Química

Abstract

This paper describes the activities carried out in four thematic short courses offered for high school students attending public schools in Brasília (Brazil). This strategy fits a proposal in teacher training in chemistry (BA in Chemistry). The courses, designed and conducted by undergraduate students, discussed issues related to food, polymers, metals and atmosphere. The results show that this is an effective strategy in the initial training of Chemistry teachers.
