Joan Triadú o la pedagogia vertebradora Autors/ores Antoni Tort i Bardolet Universitat de Vic - Universitat Central de Catalunya Resum Joan Triadú i Font (1921-2010) was not only a literary critic, writer and cultural activist but also a committed, militant educator. In fact, teaching was his most important professional occupation, and he devoted efforts and created initiatives in that field. Constantly concerned with education, he wrote many pedagogical texts that can be read today in different editions, some of them recent. This text is a summary of the talk by its author delivered in the tribute to Triadú in the plenary of the Institut d’Estudis Catalans held on 15th September 2021. From Joan Triadú’s perspective, the intention of education is grounded on the desire to become the core, or to give meaning to both personal growth and the construction of a true educational system in which cultivating language and literature and respect for the country are the hallmarks.
