La Contribució de la infografia al desenvolupament del periodisme científic Authors Sergi Cortiñas Rovira Abstract In this article, the relationship between information graphics (infographics) and popularisation of science, two interconnected and complementary fields of the communication, has been analyzed. The author defends the thesis that infographics, from nineties of last century, have contributed in a decisive way to improving the development of science popularisation. The methodology used has been a review of the existing scientific literature about the question and several interviews in depth. The author describes some of the key factors of the scientific infographics, presents some proposals of improvement in this speciality and shows a new classification of the scientific infographics in daily press.
