La reconstrucción del espacio marginal en Hasta no verte Jesús mío de Elena Poniatowska Authors Helena Usandizaga Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona Abstract En el artículo que presenta analiza la novela Hasta no verte Jesús mío, de Elena Poniatowska, y cómo ésta toma sus materiales documentales y lingüísticos de las conversaciones de la autora con una mujer mejicana pobre e iletrada. Pero la elaboración ficcional de estos materiales no tiene como objetivo el reflejo documental, sino la reconstrucción de este mundo marginal para descubrir sus potencialidades. Para mostrar un aspecto de esta reconstrucción, se estudia el sistema de valores protagonista, considerándolo como una geografía que revela la esencia de su creatividad y el punto de partida de su desafío vital.
