Abstract

It is very difficult to give a reliable text of the verses 825-902 of the Suppliants. Provisionally, I will try to give a first account of the critical situation of these verses and to expose my perplexity about some attractive but perhaps too bold propositions (e.g. 871 Συρίαισιν Badham, West; 877 Κυπριγένει ἱλάσκου West; 880 ὁ μέγας Πότμος West).
