Lista de comprobación para la preparación de envíos

Como parte del proceso de envío, los autores/as están obligados a comprobar que su envío cumpla todos los elementos que se muestran a continuación. Se devolverán a los autores/as aquellos envíos que no cumplan estas directrices.

The articles will be reviewed for approval by external examiners.

Manuscripts should be sent as an e-mail attachment both as Microsoft Word and PDF texts to fmestre@ub.edu

FONTS, SIZE, PARAGRAPHS, CHAPTERS, etc..

The text should be justified. Do not use a hyphenation tool.
The use of UNICODE fonts is required.

Title of the article: in bold 14 pt. Times New Roman, single-spaced.

Author (12pt.)
Workplace (12pt.)

Abstract in English, 500 words max. 10 pt. Times New Roman, single spaced.
Keywords: font size 12; 5 words max.

Main text: 12 pt. Times New Roman, 1.5 spaced.
Greek: Unicode.
Latin: in italics, with no quotation marks ever.

Paragraphs without indentation; without tab.

 

Titles of chapters (if any) in bold 12 pt. Times New Roman, single-spaced.

All titles of chapters should not use punctuation marks at the end, except for the question mark.

 

FOOTNOTES

Footnotes should be placed at the bottom of the page and should be numbered consecutively throughout the text. Footnote numbers in the running text should be Arabic numbers set superscript and should appear before punctuation, with no blank space. Only in quoted passages, the footnote number follows the quotation mark.

Footnotes: 10 pt. Times New Roman, single-spaced.

 

QUOTATIONS

Long quotations, both prose and verse (more than 2 lines): 11 pt. Times New Roman, single spaced, indentation left 0.8cm.
Long quotations must be preceded and followed by a white interlinear space. Do not use quotation marks to enclose the quotation.

Short quotation (shorter than 2 lines) should be incorporated into the text and enclosed by French quotation marks: «…».
If the quotation itself contains quotations, these should be enclosed by double inverted commas: “…”.

‘Single quotation marks’ should be used for single words; for translations.
